Time

It seems we’re always complaining about time. Whether it be too fast when we’re having fun, or too slow when we’re not, it’s always a concept we can’t ever control.

I’ve been thinking about time.

I wonder why we can’t ever pause the moments in our life that we want to enjoy longer. Go back to those things we wish we hadn’t said, hadn’t done. Stop ourselves from hurting the people we never really wanted to hurt.

Then there are those moments we want to last forever. The first kisses, the first time you realize you’re in love, the first time you realize they love you back. Those moments we want to scream “Freeze, slow motion, rewind.”

Then again that’s the beauty of those moments. We can never have them back, but they stick out in our minds until we’re so old all we remember is what we had for lunch.

Go ahead. Chase time. Try to stop time. Live in the moment. I know I am.
